The Scent of Happiness - Part 1

Below the sky and above the verdant surface of a meadow, a figure wrapped in white skin stood there. Though the beauty of everything around it was put in the shade, the more seamless of it shined brighter than the sun. It seemed as if to dazzle everyone; the one with fair complexion. The flowers around bowed down in respect of it. The shadow of trees rushed to pacify it from the glittering heat. The butterflies danced and danced as they were beyond the bounds of joy. In spite of all these, it was quiet. The steady eyes glancing at the river, the hands in motion and the smile of quietness and value. The figure stood still straight without any movement - quiet and calm!

The night fell. The stars rose to shine, and the wonderful darkness came for an exchange. It said that you are a dream, but the reply startled him. The figure replied ominously that it is, in fact, a dream, and I am your happiness. The two stood beyond expectations. The blue streak in the night sky and the lovely dilemma. At last, the darkness coaxed, "You are a picture of my smile and the evidence of my life for this has to be the end. The light should become dark." And the only thing left now was the faint luminosity buried beneath the darkness.

From now, the meadow was silent. The throbbing sound of small wings was heard only by the silent wind. The trees wept in the absence of a shade. Everyone was vacant from inside, the heart that felt and the burning drops from the eye. No one could imagine the unexpected arrival of sadness though it was felt before the departure. At the moment, the branches of trees fell in sorrow and the delight of the day fainted gradually. It was no more a beauty's house.

Once again the night fell. The stars rose to shine, but it was too dark, darker than black. They writhed in suppressed fury; the emotional and physical discomfort. It was all over, and they left it there, and they left it there.
